The system

One Heavy Vehicle Hoist System. Multiple Fleet Configurations.

Portalift gives heavy-vehicle workshops a flexible alternative to a permanently installed
lift. Individual columns are positioned at the vehicle wheels and operate together as a coordinated lifting
system, giving technicians clear underbody access while allowing the equipment to be moved or stored
when the bay is required for other work.

With a 7.5 tonne rating per column and configurations from four to ten columns, Portalift
can be specified around a broad range of truck, bus, fleet, rail and specialist vehicle requirements. Iron Lift
can help work through vehicle mass, axle loading, wheel size, workshop layout and the number of columns
required before quoting.

Why Portalift

Why Workshops Choose Portalift

Flexible workshop use

Columns can be moved into position when required rather than permanently dedicating a bay to a fixed lift.

Complete underbody access

The mobile column format leaves the centre of the vehicle open for service and inspection work.

Multiple configurations

The same Portalift platform can be arranged in 4, 6, 8 or 10-column systems depending on the application.

No traction batteries to manage

Portalift is a wired system, so workshops do not have to plan around charging lifting batteries between jobs.

Built for demanding environments

The manufacturer currently lists Portalift as IP65 rated, which supports use in dusty or wet workshop environments within the product instructions.

Australian manufacture

Endurequip currently manufactures Portalift in Brisbane and has produced the system in Australia for more than three decades.

Wired by design

Continuous Power Without Hoist Battery Management

Portalift uses a wired electro-mechanical system. For workshops that value continuous mains-powered operation, this avoids the need to charge and replace lifting batteries. Endurequip also offers a cable management system designed to keep power cables raised and organised around the work area.

Controls and workshop operation

  •  Show on-post controls as a key operating feature.
  • Show the remote pendant as a way for the operator to observe the lift from around the vehicle.
  •  Explain that posts can be controlled individually, in pairs or together only where this is confirmed for
    the current system.
  •  Use an image or simple diagram showing four columns around a truck or bus, then a second illustration
showing a six or eight-column arrangement.
  • Avoid dense engineering diagrams in the first half of the page. Put detailed technical material lower
    down.
Controls & operation

Controls and Workshop Operation

Straightforward operation with the operator close to the vehicle and the work.

On-post controls

Each column carries its own controls, so the technician can operate the lift directly at the post.

Remote pendant

A remote pendant lets the operator observe the lift from around the vehicle while it rises or lowers. Column grouping options (individually, in pairs or together) are confirmed for the current system at quote stage.

Each column carries its own controls, so the technician can operate the lift directly at the post.

Made in Australia

Australian-Made Heavy Vehicle Lifting

Portalift is designed and manufactured in Australia for heavy-vehicle workshops that need a portable, high-capacity lifting system. Endurequip has manufactured Portalift in Australia for more than
30 years and is part of RUD Australia.

Use a strong Brisbane manufacturing or finished-product image if Endurequip permits it. Do not make Iron Lift look like the manufacturer. The copy must clearly distinguish Endurequip as the manufacturer and Iron Lift as the supplier / customer contact only where that relationship is confirmed.

Is Portalift right for your workshop?

Create a simple selector with six questions:
  • What is the heaviest vehicle you need to lift?
  •  What are the axle loads and number of axles?
  •  What wheel sizes and tyre profiles are in the fleet?
  • Will the hoist be used indoors, outdoors or around a wash bay?
  • How often do you need to lift vehicles each day?
  •  Do you need the bay to remain clear when the hoist is not in use?
Iron Lift supply

From Hoist Selection to Ongoing Workshop Support

Heavy-vehicle lifting should be selected around the actual fleet, not simply the total vehicle
weight. Iron Lift can help review the vehicles, axle arrangement, workshop layout and intended use before a Portalift system is quoted. We can also assist with delivery planning, commissioning coordination, inspections, maintenance and parts enquiries where applicable.

Service claim rule: Do not call Iron Lift an authorised Endurequip service agent unless Michael confirms this separately. If service work is offered, use accurate wording such as support, servicing enquiries or parts assistance.

FAQs

Portalift Questions Answered

Endurequip currently rates each Portalift column at 7.5 tonnes. The correct system must also account for actual
axle loads and vehicle configuration.

Portalift can be configured in sets of 4, 6, 8 or 10 columns. The correct quantity depends on vehicle mass, axle
positions, axle loads and the lifting points required.

Endurequip currently publishes configurations up to 10 columns with a nominal combined lifting capacity of 75 tonnes.

The current published maximum lifting height is 1600 mm.

Portalift is a wired electro-mechanical system. Endurequip also offers a cable management system to organise
power cables in the workshop.

The manufacturer currently lists Portalift as IP65 rated. Actual outdoor use must still follow the manufacturer
instructions, electrical requirements and site risk controls.

Yes, Portalift is marketed by Endurequip for bus and coach maintenance. The selected configuration must suit
the vehicle weight, wheel size and axle loading.

Often yes. Mobile columns are flexible, but every vehicle must remain within the system capacity, wheel
interface and manufacturer requirements.

Portalift is designed as a portable system and does not require the same permanent bay installation as a fixed
platform or in-ground lift.

Endurequip offers vehicle stands, small wheel adaptors, an A-frame trailer adaptor, cable management systems
